This site barely gets any traffic, we have a pretty good member base but no one posts. When the one year term comes to an end I doubt I will renew this website. I has been fun, but I think bushmaster has a website roman-forums and dont forget gunstroker or the high road or gunboards so there are many many alternative boards and this one is obviously not needed. The main reason for this sight was to poke censorship in its fucking eye and I think that has been done. :nanabooboo

Well it has been a little disappointing I expect. I came over because of Doug and his second entry for the giveaway. Did the intro thing and click over here most days when checking my email and such and read all the new posts. Just not much activity. Even when gunbroker dies the postaholics don't come around, been wondering where they go for thier fix. I don't know what changed but the site started loading much faster for me sometime after xmas, it used to take forever.

Sorry I'm not much of a poster generally. Thanks for the plugs for alternate sites. Found them all except the high road, whats the actual site?

When will this site be going down if you choose not to continue? There is a series of informational post I would like save before hand.

While I will miss the site I understand your position. And like Doug would be willing to help some, but with my current finances it would be very little at this time.

Thanks

I changed my mind... 3 years will run 70 bucks and some change. We will be here another 3 years, at least.

Thanks Mike.

We will grow, and provide an alternative for people who REALLY believe in the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

I think this site is badly needed in this period of our Country's "change".

Thank you so much, and don't forget to let me know if I can help financially.

You are a Good Man.

Doug

I wound up renewing for 5 years, to the grand total of $119.00. Don't mention it Doug ;) The company of my friends and fellow freedom supporters are more than enough payment.

Plumber, here's a subject that should draw some attention: H Clinton, B Obama, and NATO, what do they have in common? Small Arms Treaty, say bye bye to all but your illegal homemade musket. You might want to stock up on primers, fishing weights and foxfire books for the making of homemade powders. There will be a war on the home front, are you boys ready? H, B, & N, get it thru your f'in minds, I will be tak'in my girls hunting for squirrels, prairie dogs, and morons.

A word of encouragement.

I took me 2.5 years to build the Nationalgunforum.com up to the point where it is now. Lots of posting, adding mods that would post and attracting advertisers, who seem to come in if the site is growing.

Friends tell friends who tell friends, etc. Like a pyramid scheme.

Did the same with flaguns.com. Just takes persistence, tenacity and endurance. Don't give up and keep plugging away.

The name has a lot to do with it and letting the yahoo, google, msn bots skim off data for their sites. Which brings in more folks over time.

I remember the discouragement of Travis the owner, but then we hit 500 members, then 1,000, then 2,000, now about 6K and lots of ad people putting in money and the site selling gold, silver and bronze memberships.

If you are not moving well at the two year point, then reassess your position and consider a name that puts you up higher in the alphabet or a similar move.

I like our name, a lot.

It brings people who WE want.

My subtitle for our place is "The Second Revolution".

I know Mike hasn't adopted it, but essentially, he pays the bills and it really is his site.

Doug

your name is red, not mine.

So it is official!
